Accommodation is the Asta Beach at Hastings, 3/4 star standard
these are self catering. Up grades available. Details can be found
in the Unijet brochure. The cost for Adults is £850, Children
aged 2-11 is £250 and under 2's go for £75. This includes flights,
all transfers, two weeks accommodation and day trip. Match fees
will be payable by those who wish to go along to games and play
matches.

A financial commitment is needed before the month end to guarantee
a place on this terrific trip. This trip is not a hockey/cricket
tour unless that is what you are looking for. The trip does cater
for all, couples, families and friends. The sport is optional
and you are free to spend your holiday as you wish.

Fareham Hockey club and Shedfield Cricket Club proposed tour
to Barbados April 2002
We are trying to get a feel of the support for a tour to the Caribbean.
You may be aware there is cross over between the hockey club and
Shedfield Cricket club it is therefore logical that we try and
keep costs down by touring jointly.
The tour will be of two weeks duration, towards the end of April
in 3 star self catering accommodation, two sharing per room. There
should be extra bed facilities for those with families. The hotel
would be a maximum 8/10 miles away from Bridgetown
the Capital, and be fairly near to the St.Lawrence gap area in
which you will find a vast array of restaurants and entertainment.
This is the south/south west are of the island and will have frontage
to a lovely beach! As an idea you can look in the Airtours brochure
for the Coconut
Court Beach Hotel,
which is a possible location in Hastings.
The cost is going to be around £900.00 for each adult.
There should be suitable concessions for the children but this
depends on the tour operator. The £900 will cover transfer
by coach from Fareham to the airport, the flight, transfers the
the rend and the self catering accommodation. For our protection,
bookings would be made with ABTA bonded firms only. There will
need to be match fees for those playing/traveling to watch the
matches, but this will cover the transport and the odd rum (OK
mega rums).
Clearly to progress everything, we need your commitment now and,
to book your place, will you please contact Nigel Cook to the
advise the numbers involved and their names, and also enclose
a deposit cheque to Keith Barrett, of £50.00 per person.
The cash will go into a specially designated bank account. We
can only proceed if there is enough interest, and from the initial
straw poll this would not appear to be a problem, so let your
cheques roll in.

can be made.
